We have just finished with the noisy fun-filled Navratri where little feet danced to the beat of the dhol. And there is still time for Diwali hysteria to take over. Not to have an ebb in the excitement, we could celebrateHalloween, a popular American festival. If you don’t have any Halloween parties to attend, you can spend the weekend watching some not-so-scary ghostly movies.

Here is a list 10 Halloween movies for kids under 10:

1. Pooh’s Heffalump Movie

Kids love Pooh. In this Halloween edition of the series, Pooh eats all the Halloween Candy. So Lumpy and Roo decide to be brave and catch the dreaded Gobloon who will grant them a wish (for more candy, of course).

2. Casper:

This classic funny and slightly scary movie is a kids’ delight. Casper is a friendly kid’s ghost who haunts a mansion. He befriends a specialist, and ultimately falls in love with Kat, the daughter of the specialist.

9. It’s The Great Pumpkin

Charlie Brown:In this animated movie, while Charlie Brown and other friends go trick-treating in the town, Linus waits in the pumpkin patch to see if the great pumpkin pays him the annual visit.

10. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone:

How can any Halloween movie list be complete without featuring the bespectacled and brave young Harry Potter? Though all Harry Potter movies are a must-watch, this one’s a real treat for young kids who will love Hogwarts Express, ghosts floating in the great castle of Hogwarts, birds and animals, giants, etc.

So dim the lights, grab the bowl of popcorn and cuddle up in the blanket with your little ones!
