Dr Prathima Reddy is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Dr Prathima Reddy is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. She was trained in the United Kingdom and obtained her MRCOG and FRCOG from there. She then worked in the UK for 9 years before coming back to India.

In Bangalore she was one of the first consultants to introduce evidence based, protocol led management of patients. This contributed enormously to changes in practice and reduction in Caesarean Section rates in all the hospitals that she worked at.
