I went through c-section on may 6th...so can i start with cardio,abdomen workouts...after how many months can I start hard core workouts...

Hi Bhargavi ....3 months is quite a short period to start workouts. Your body is still healing from a major surgery. So would suggest slow walks near your house like the garden or if you can get to a park. I started hardcore workout only after 2yrs after my c section. Till then it was walks swimming after 8-9 months. But nothing vigorous.

hi Bhargavi, being 3 months post c section , you can gradually start with your postnatal workout . By that I mean , you can go for walks regularly ( start with 20 mins & go to 45 mins ) everyday. You can also start with abdominal workout but only under supervision of an instructor. Abdominal workouts can include crunches , back strengthening exercises , leg toning workouts.
When you start with the workout , make sure you have visited your gynaecologist to know everything is okay and sorted inside. Along with exercise, breastfeeding has to be continued. A healthy diet & Exercise which is mild to moderate level when accompanied with exclusive breastfeeding can help achieve healthier weight loss and better fitness levels . if you have any query on exercise or diet, feel free to contact on 9920357437.
