Sago Kheer With Jaggery


Sago is very good for health. It keeps the body warm when we consume Sagu Foods in hot. It keeps body cold when we consume in a cold state.



Sago - 1/2 cup

Jaggery - 3/4 cup

Milk - 3 cups

Water -1 cup

Ghee-2 tsp

Cardamom-1/4 tsp

Cashews-1tsp finely chopped

Almond-1 tsp sliced

Raisins-1 tsp


Procedure :

🥣 Soak Sago in water for 3 hours and sieve the water.

🥣 Take a pan and add ghee, roast Dryfruits, and nuts. Keep aside.

🥣 Now boil the sago in water and add grated jaggery and milk.

🥣 mix well and add Dryfruits and nuts. Serve hot.


Tips: it thickens fast. Feel free to add boiled milk while serving. You can add dates paste for natural sweetness. Keep stirring while cooking to avoid burning at the bottom. Once the jaggery is added cook in Sim to avoid curdling. Switch off once the jaggery melted.
