*How to train your baby for night sleep*:
Many mothers have complain that their new born babies / 2-3 months old babies donot sleep at night. This is a very common problem which maximum mothers face. I have a tip to share with them regarding this.
First thing to keep in mind is " babies are humans only... they will sleep at night. Its just you will have to teach them difference between day and night". for teaching them day time: make room brighter. allow sun rays to enter the rooms . if u cover them with curtains your baby will think its night. for night time, dim the lights before baby goes to sleep and if baby wakes up during midnight or 3-4oclock in morning, donot switch on bright lights of the room. bright light distracts their sleep.if you donot hav dim lights in you room then you can go for a table lamp.
secondly, major difference between day and night time of baby is during day time baby has to play more and sleep more during night time. But, parents complain that baby sleeps full day. so the solution is :make your baby stay awake during day (waking hours depends upon age of baby). for eg: for a 1-2 month baby, out of 24 hours, idle sleeping hours are 16-18 hours. so for them , if they sleep in evening, force them to stay awake.. distract them frm sleep, donot feed so much that tummy is full.amd they go to sleep, make them cry and stay awake... this way baby will stay awake, and later feel tired playing and hence sleep at night peacefully.
Also. many mothers say babies should be fed every 2 hours. This is just a standard time. This may vary from baby to baby. Some babies feed after 4 hours but when they are awake and playing they need feed every hour. So donot wake up your baby in middle of the night just to feed them. BABIES WILL CRY WHEN THEY WILL FEEL HUNGRY. Same goes for day time also. If baby is sleeping during day, donot disturb their sleep and force them to feed.
Last but not the least, very important statement just remember
" DONOT LET YOUR BABY CONTROL YOU, YOU SHOULD CONTROL YOUR BABY" for any kind of thing, be it teaching your baby, making them eat stuff or feed , playing, their sleep time , giving them mobile or no, teaching them to eat healthy but not so delicious food... later on making them do homework... its all up to You. if you control your child since the day he/she is born, your life will be very easy #babysleeppatterns #babysleephacks #babytraining #easylife #babysleeping #postdeliverycare
