Puffed rice/uggani Recipe


Puffed Rice 3cups

Water 3cups

Peanuts 2tbsp

Onion 1

Chillies 6

turmeric 1/2 tbsp

Curry leaves 1string

Salt as per taste


- In a large bowl take puffed rice and pour 3 cups of water and rinse puffed rice well and don't allow them to soak as they turn mushy.

-squeeze of the water from puffed rice and keep it aside.

-In a pan heat 2tbsp oil and Roast peanuts on low flame and then add onion, chillies,

Few Curry leaves allow them to splutter then add turmeric powder and salt.

-Add squeeze d puffed rice and mix it properly and cover the lid and cook for 3 minutes and turn of the stove and serve hot . #BBCreatorsClub #KhushbooChouhan #Macharla
