I don't use powder for my daughter face here is the reason and if uh do how to use

It is safe, as long as you use the baby powder carefully and ensure your baby doesn't;breathe;in the talc. If you want to use baby talcum powder, tip a little into your hand, away from your baby, and dab or rub it onto your baby's skin. Don't sprinkle the talc directly onto your baby or use a powder puff that might throw many particles into the air.

Talcum powder or baby powder as it is also called, is made from tiny particles of a naturally occurring, soft mineral called talc. This mineral is perfectly safe for your;baby's skin, but the fine particles can be harmful if your baby breathes in lots of them at once.

A few airborne particles probably won't harm your baby, but if your baby breathes in a lot of talc, it could irritate or clog the delicate air sacs in her lungs.

Sadly, a very small number of babies have developed;breathing;difficulties and died after becoming covered in talc. However, bear in mind it's extremely rare that inhaling talc proves fatal. The babies who;lost their lives;had their faces covered in talc, usually after playing with the container.

It follows that you should never let your baby;play;with a bottle of talc. Talc can seem like an irresistible play material to babies and small children. And, as toddlers love imitating their mums and dads, there's a risk they may playfully shower their baby sibblings;with powder.

If you do want to use a baby talcum powder, keep the following in mind:

Store and place the bottle of talc well;out of reach;from your baby or toddler at all times.

Don't use talcum powder to lighten;your baby's complexion. Applying the powder to her face will make it more likely that she breathes some in.

Never use a puff. They tend to create clouds of powder in the air that are easy to breathe in, especially if you are putting the powder on the folds of your;baby's neck;or in her armpits
