Sharing my weightloss story
I had a c-section and very honestly I didn't work to much on my weightloss , it slowly started shedding off with time.
It's just we should have to positive approach which includes - patience & the feel good factor.
It seriously took me 10 months to shed my pregnancy weight.
My pre pregnancy weight was 55 kg and in 9 months I was 77 kg
i.e I was 22 kg more.😤😰
I was never in hurry to lose weight and was following a good diet.
I have never followed a strict crash diet.
Soon my baby will be 1 year on 13 November and my current weight is 56 kg 😆
I followed one important rule to eat everything but in moderation.
Here is my routine.
7:00 AM :- 1 cup milk tea & 2 rusk ( I; hate green tea).
8:30 AM :- Breakfast ( cornflakes or oats or omellete).
10:00 AM :- roasted puffed rice or any one fruit or oats biscuits ( 2-3).
1:00 PM :- Lunch ( 2 chapati + 1 katori rice + sabji + 1 glass butter milk)
5:00 PM :- bread toast with peanut butter or milk bread. ( 2 slice brown bread)
8:00 PM :- Dinner ( 2 chapati + sabji + more vegetable salad)
9:00 PM :- one glass of milk with women's horlics.
* Drink more and more water.
* Don't drink water soon after any meal keep 30 min gap.
* Walk at least 20 steps after every meal.
Since I am still Breastfeeding my baby I make it a point to eat healthy food , minimum sugar and no junk food.
After 3 months I started with walking 500 steps inside my house only gradually increased the steps.
After more 3 months I started with stretching and yoga.
I m a big follower of baba ram Dev and Shilpa Shetty
So momies this was my story of weightloss post C-section and I would love to know your journey too.

So here is my issue ....i dont binge but i do like food and eat out on weekends... during the week not so much and i do a bit of regular exercise....still no weight loss . What do you suggest?

Great tips... I was working out...But after coming to home these people won't let you do anything saying kaha moti ho...Uff... In will b back to kolkata on 13th and then begins the journey again.

Try to eat small portion in every 3-4 hours..
Drink warm water 3 ltrs a days u will see the effect in a month ( it's a good time to start as winter has started).
During summer drink detox water it really helps.
If u like green tea then have it twice a day.
Avoid fried food & sweets.
Try to walk at least 2000 steps.
Do some yoga...
Do skipping at home only just assume u are holding a rope.
Avoid drinking water soon after meal.
And the best make a habit to dance everyday on one song with your kid.
Whenever u are talking on mobile start walking..hope this helps

I follow most of all advise given by u.eat healthy, no oily and sugary food(but have to drink 3 cup of milk of satavary poweder due to low milk supply daily and this satavary powder may contain  sugar portion but have to drink, daily walk, drink lot of water-nowadys 9--10 liter u dont trust but i alwys feel less of water in my mouth after 30 min even in midtime(that's my habit from pragnency time), but still i havnt start any yoga becuse I hv csection before 3 month.so I think I hv to start yoga of shilpashetty and baba ramdev from you tube.

How much exercise is needed to lose weight...this sounds like just a silly question but i started off with 20 min cross train and i walk 2 km daily....but still weighing machine isnt happy

Hi Prachi.. Very informative post.. I had a c-sec.. My baby is 2 months old.. After delivery my appetite has increased quite a bit... is that normal... I bf and ff my baby..

Prachi; that s so nice, me too lost 9 kg after my second child and in 3 months.
As after delivering the baby my weight63 kg, asbecause of c section so started exercising; after 3 months n in next three months from 63 to 54 kg

No journey till now.. 😂😂... watever weight loss happened was on its own.. i did nothing.. not that i m proud of it.. but i m still 6 kgs above my pre pregnancy weight which itself was 4 kg above the normal..😂😂😂
