This is not a “progress photo” but a gentle reminder that our bodies are not meant to stay the same. Our bodies will grow and shrink, stretch and change over time just like our lives will change over time. I wonder what would happen if instead of rushing to get our pre baby body back, we chose to honor and respect it just how we honor and respect our new life as a mom.

I am 1 year postpartum and I thought for sure I would be at my prebaby weight by now.. but I’m not. Most days I embrace my body, but there are days I struggle. Seeing other women on Instagram show their authentic self helps and is so inspiring. I hope I can do my part in showing that your worth as a woman is not in the way your body looks. 🤍

Have you struggled to love your post baby body?

PSA swipe to see a “reality” picture trying to recreate my other postpartum picture 😂🤪
