Adai / Dal dosa recipe

To Soak

1 cup chana dal

1 cup urad dal

1 cup toor dal

3 cups rice all in the same measure cups.

To grind

green chillies 4-5 or red chillies 5-6 and salt to taste

All the above ingredients wash and soak together for at least 6-8 hours (overnight).

Grinder the soaked rice and dall with green chillies 4-5 or red chillies 5-6 and salt to taste into a smooth batter ( dosa like batter. A bit corse is best. )

No fermentation required, so once your batter is ready pour it in a dosa tawa and make a dosa by cooking it in a low-medium flame on both sides and serve. Best accompaniment for this dish is jaggery chutney is optional.

Variations. You can add finely chopped onion and cilantro to the batter and spread this dosa.

Note. Rest of the batter can be refrigerated and used the next day also
