We usually have many face wash tubes, gels, shaving creams and such items at home which get thrown and wasted away when still little amount is left.. Sometimes because of non use, they are near expiry date and we throw them.
I usually cut these tubes; from back and use the leftover for cleaning wash basins sink and buckets by using them on a scrubber. As these products usually have alkalies and chemicals in them, they are good cleaning agents..

Wow awesome idea. Yeah recently I used my husband's after shave lotion (expiry date was 2016) in the washing machine after washing, the clothes had good fragrance.
