A warm welcome showering some love from Mahi Gajwani from Diu. Throughout the day will be spreading some motherhood experiences & u would get to know why Mahi is such a strong personality.
My first post is on CHILDHOOD MEMORIES …
Now u might be wondering why childhood ..
Childhood is that phase of life were some days I wish I could go back in life. Not to change anything, but to feel a few things twice.
It was 8 of Nov 1990 when a little Angel was parceled to this beautiful world.
The time when I was pampered in my family.
My Grandparents hailed from different divisions of Sindh (now in Pakistan) n where shifted to Bagalkot (karnataka). My grandpa n grandma had married early n had 7 kids as they were 32.
My Grand ma is very modern even though she didn’t study much but she made sure that all her kids should be independent n aim high dreams in their life. Do u think study was constraint to her ?? No !! a big No …she could almost read English kannada n sindhi …n could even provide prescribed medicine to customers n make exact bill!!! Isnt it that amazing !!! a Sweet childhood memory with my grand ma was she made sure that I should be brave enough n she use to groom my hairs till I crossed class 10.
My Grand pa is my Fav …He is such a loving personality n even today at the age of 66, he does all his work independently. He loves to travel. My interesting memory with him was …as soon as he reached home the bike will can be parked, after a long drive with limbu soda as treat…. N this continued to generations to generations.
My dad is eldest among all n I m too eldest girl in house. My mom was just a darling to me, she made sure that my upbringing should be full of happiness. My parents were strong enough n they loved be to the moon.
I have 4 bua’s n 2 chachu’s as I n my elder cousin brother were only kids in house we both had opportunity to explore more in our childhood.
My bua’s were n are very loving they dressed me like princess. Every now n then they experimented my looks. My family members did not stop me to do new things.; They let me free alwz as a free bird.
As I started to go to school, I still remember first day of Balvadi (then playschools were called balvadi in kannada)
My teachers were very kind hearted n v as kids were offered upma in school. I as a kid never cried for going to school. As my school holidays use to start I use to run to my nani’s home.
Childhood journey-- My dad knew that I loved my nani more than anyone else n he use to drop me to her house but was that my nani house near my house . a big NOOOOO!!!! It use to take 20 hours, 2 buses n 2 trains to change plus one auto to reach my nani house n this wait use to kill me in n out. I use to see time again n again n ask dad still how long would it take. While going many a times I hurt my hands in middle of train windows but this never stopped my travelling journey to Nani Home.
My nani mom n mami use to love me more as for maternal side I was in 3rd position among kids. My nani mama n mami still tease me that I use to take dupatta n cover my face n wrap my whole body with it. There wasn’t a single night I could sleep without it. Funny…. isn’t it ??
However I grew up,school started n now I was grown up. I had many siblings around my maternal side as well as paternal side. Things all went right. We as kids enjoyed with each other, fought n blamed each other too.
N still v all are in touch through social media platforms.
