•½;cup;unsalted butter;melted
•¾;cup;- 1 cup powdered sugar;adjust to sweetness
•1½;cup;semolina or sooji
•pinch;of salt
•¼;tsp;cardamom powder; •1/2;cup;curd or yogurt;whiske
•1;cup;milk;adjust consistency
•¾;tsp;baking powder
•½;tsp;baking soda
handful of dry fruits;chopped (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
•2;tbsp;tutti frutti;optional
•Start by preheating the cooker. For this place a stand inside the pressure cooker and put the lid on without the gasket and no whistle. Switch the gas onto high heat for 10-15 mins. Meanwhile start with your cake mix.
•firstly, in a bowl take melted butter, powdered sugar.
•whisk continuously, till the mixture turns silky smooth.
•further add rava, maida, salt and cardamom powder.
•additionally add curd and milk.
•mix well and soak for 30 minutes.
•also add baking powder and baking soda.
•furthermore, add dry fruits and 2 tbsp tutti frutti.
•mix well and transfer to cake tin.
•To bake the cake place inside the preheated cooker (remove the band and whistle of cooker) and close the lid. Now wait for 40 to 45 min.
• You can check it even after 35 min. Keep your gas flame slow to slightly medium.
further, cool down the cake completely. also transfer the cake to cooling rack to cool faster.
finally, cut the cake and serve rava cake along with masala tea in your evening snacks.
