I have started doing the mommylogy activity book. I know there is not enough scientific research to back my logic strongly. But still it is my personal belief or logic that I am sharing.
We all know that the brain cells function with the help of certain chemicals called NEUROTRANSMITTERS. These neurotransmitters carry the signals from the brain cells to the organs and muscles of our various body parts to function as per requirement.
Until now, in 6 months of my pregnancy, I have been completely bugged down by the various discomforts of pregnancy hormones like nausea vomiting, aches and pains etc. I also observed that I didn’t like music anymore and even I lost focus in reading any piece of paper, forget about reading a book. I had planned to enjoy my pregnancy with a lot of book reading and had bought a lot of books too, but I couldn’t complete a single one, except the most important pregnancy related ones, that too with a lot of difficulty and dragging myself through the books. The functions of my super active emergency physician brain had become so dull and slow to react to anything, making me feel miserable. Sometimes even negative and depressed, thinking about how I would manage life after having the baby. But we all know and also keep advising each other to be stress free, as stress is not good for the baby's growth as well as for the overall outcome of delivery process.
The activities in this book,though, are triggering the right brain cells and the right neurotransmitters to reactivate my sleeping lazy brain. This little nudge is also important to wake up the slumbering pregnant brain cells.
I believe that the neurotransmitters released while doing these exercises, will circulate in my body through the blood and reach my baby through the placenta and trigger his neurons and brain cells too.
Such exercises are also published every day on the T2 page of The Telegraph newspaper and other magazines, but they are not pregnancy or child birth related. One can do them too instead of buying this book.
So hoping, wishing and imagining my theory to work, let us together do some of the activities. I will be sharing it here and we all can have some fun.

Even i do feel the same. I used to be super active, but after i was hospitalised, i feel so dull, not able to walk properly, not able to do my own chores,
I planned so much things for my pregnancy, i will do this and that to make my baby super intelligent but all in vain. All im suffering is from health issues from pregnancy. I feel stressed and depressed too often but immediately I realise this is not good for the baby, i cant express but also cant feel my emotions now.
I feel trapped. God knows what will happen.

I wish I too learned about it during pregnancy...most of my pregnancy phase gone by stress and depression..I don't know how it gonna effect my baby...for now she is happy active baby.. finger crossed in future also she will🌻
