“My Saga of the two lines!”

I and my husband are now married for about seven years. We had thought of not having babies for at least five years as ours was an arrange marriage and we lived in different cities before marriage. So I wanted to spend some good five years along with him, understand him well and then take a mutual decision to take up this “Big responsibility” of having a baby.

Time passed away in like fractions of seconds and it seemed at four years that now we are saturated with each other, have had enough of fun in life and now we need something new and exciting. Thats when we decided to bring in this new phase of life thats parenthood. We were quite excited as we use to see our neighbours kids going out with their parents on Sundays. These little ones calling them “mumma-papa”! The excitement was crazy. I always thought that I would conceive Very easily but to my surprise I dint. It took me nearly one year to conceive. Every time when I would see the “Red Spot” on my monthly cycles, I would be totally shattered. I use to literally wait when my periods date will be missed and when will I use the “Pregnancy test” kit. Everyone’s face in my house would be shattered months after months.

The thought of visiting a doctor did cross my mind but  then I did a little google search (ha ha ha which most women’s do for their all sort of problems) that it takes about one to one and a half year to conceive naturally. So I was a bit relaxed with the doctor visit thing. 

It was around the time when we where celebrating our 5th Anniversary and I had got to see those two lines for the very first time in my life. We where on top of the world. I remember my husband uttering theses words in my ears, “ you have given me the best anniversary gift ever, love you two💖. 

All was going well until my 7th week. It was a bright Sunday morning, I had just taken a nice head shower and what I see stains of blood on my towel.  I got very scared and frightened as to what was this? Thereby, I called the doctor immediately and as it was a Sunday, he told me to take complete bed rest with some medication and see him the next day early morning in his clinic. That whole night I dint sleep worrying about this little one inside me. I somewhat had an instinct that something is really wrong.

I got up early and I went to the doctors clinic immediately. The doctor did a scan and said, “ there is no heartbeat!” I was like did I hear it right? What is he trying to say?  I went numb, I just dint want him to repeat the same thing again. He replied in a soft tone, Upasana” baby has no heart beat, you have had a miscarriage.” I was like are you really sure? He said firmly “yes”.

My heart sank down and we both dint know what to do.  Not a single tear dropped down my & nor my husbands eye because we were not ready to believe and somewhat I felt that the doctor, the nurse and all the clinic staff is our enemy.  We sat in the car, our comfort zone and we both bursted out into tears. That was the very first time I had seen my husband cry out loud.

The next step was a DNC as the baby was big and wouldn’t come out with medication. After two days the DNC was done and all looked fine until the terror cropped up. I had bleeding for about 25 continuous days. The doctor who had done my DNC said it’s quite normal to bleed for that many days but I was somewhere feeling that something is wrong. So I took the help of Mr. Google and got to know that if the DNC is not done properly and if there is any retained tissues then the blood supply will continue and that’s why you bleed this long. So the immediate next day I visited another gynaecologist and he did a scan and said that there is something in there. It may be a blood cloth or a retained tissue. So he gave me another medicine and he told me that it will come out naturally. So we did a scan after 5 days and all looked clean but I was still bleeding heavily. By then I was very sure that there is a retained tissue in my body as it had already been 35 days. So I decided to go back to my moms place in Bangalore and get it checked with my familiar gynaecologist. There the doctor did just one scan and got to know it’s a retained tissue and needs an immediate second DNC. I had full trust in her and I went in for the DNC again. My bleeding stopped the very next day and the tissues where given for testing in laboratory and to my right intuition it was confirmed retained tissue being found. I signed a sense of relief once my bleeding stopped.

After all this hassle I just wanted a break from this planning business. So after about 8 months we started trying and it just clicked. I could see those two beautiful line again. My heart was happy but had a little fear to that what if?

Then I decided to change my mindset and look at it as though everything is gonna be right this time. The power of positivity flew in me.

Hello mommies howz u all.. Friends this is breast feed Week i got time to post my breast feed journey. 

I am Proud mother of two angels so have many Beautiful moments of breast feeding. 

I never felt complications in breast feeding touchwood. When I was delivered my first baby I was not aware about this but my sister helped me alot she explained to me about latching baby. I latched saani she sucked nipple well after 4to 5 tries. 

My nipple was in the shape of the shap so that the kids could easily suck.Actually My Gynic told me to stretch the nipple for 2 minutes every day, so that it will be easy to feed.It helped me a lot.I didn't realize anything worst in breast feeding. I enjoyed. 

It was blessing for me. As i am very fond of reading about breast feeding. 

When she was two month I started to visit all places because I dident want to make her so much sensitive. She should adjust everywhere. I got success in this because in jodhpur se were alone. Never felt anxiety with her. 

I felt never any shame in breast feeding. When my Brother in law was in ahmedabad apollo we were travelling from udaipur to ahmedabad by bus in emergency without reservation u can think with small kid Its not posible to manage her said yar how will u Manage i said Its ok dear let see.. 

Friends here my technique work alot because saani was habitual with this peoples were seeing at me she started to crystal Loudly. I started to feed her there.. Becoz i hav no any option to stop her screaming. Hubby felt shamed I convinced them that here all people are seeing me as a mother. Mother word is a very expressive word in itself, which everyone always respects.

So Friends I never felt anya shamed with this. 

Friends breast feeding is Very important behaviour for all over development of a child. 

When you go for breast feeding alwaaz keep in your mind this is a best feeling ever for you your child is too small for this feeling. Some tips of mine are here.. Read below... 
🚼when you are feeding your child keep calm your self. Stop thinking about anything worst. 
🚼enjoy this time with your kid she will feel best and attached with you easily. 
🚼with happiness if u are feeding your child anger will always stay away from her behaviour. 
🚼if u feel stress try toh play with her and start feeding she give u Beautiful moment. 
🚼eat healthy foods dry fruits baby will enjoy this in every feeding
🚼in starting baby need it so much Dont irritate this is a Beautiful phase pass with sweet memory.

 

🚼always attend babies when she need your attention. 
🚼 at last never raita on myth if u have anya confusion talks toh expert and ur gynic they will help u logically. 

Trust on urself because u r mother.

Socializing is real important and as a couple we are socially very active! From having a dozen load of different connections to a crazy family, we are truly blessed! Friends who are family and family who are true friends, we have em all!! Touchwood!! Thats how we would like our kiddo to grow up too.For him,being a teeny tiny human, hez blessed coz of our travels,of the circle of friends and family he already has!

First and foremost,Let’s get them introduced!! That’s my cheeky lil monksu Reyansh with his first cousin another lil monksu ,Rishi. These two are from different continents!! (one from Asia and the other from Australia) but share the same level of excitement, craziness and cheerfulness.
From being hyperactive  and creating a storm by just screaming the word “mumma”, they can do it all in a jiffy!
.
They both speak in their own sweet language, conversations mainly are with respect to toys and how naughty one can get😉
.
Coming to the best part!! They share the same birth date with the two being born at almost the same time and how amazingly coincidental is that!! 
.
They have just met twice , exchanged gifts , on and off vide,hi bye messages and I would strongly say they have jelled up pretty well though there is an “I want that”, “Go away” occasionally coming thru the doors but hey!! they are kids and they need to express themselves the way they want to!! 
.
And for the pics that were captured?? It was a sheer pleasant sight to get them in a frame!! They look and act so Aww-dorable!!

When will we be truly ready to have a baby?

This thought just rushed into my mind today when I had spoken to my very good old friend. I asked her, so when are you planning to have babies? To this she said, “ oh baby! No not yet”. It was loud and clear.

That’s when I went back to my past, where even I was never ready initially to have a baby. For me I wanted to make babies but always this thought ran back of my mind “ No not Now”. But later I realised that there is no right time, you should just go for it. Once me & my husband where saturated with each other, bored & wanted something new in life, that’s when we decided to have a baby. It’s the inner instincts that works the best. If you feel it right then just jump in. 

Take this “Big Jump” if the following applies to you:

👶🏻 if you are bored & saturated with each other & want some change then take up this “ Baby Challenge”.
👶🏻if you have had enough of sleep & would love to be an “Owl” in the night.
👶🏻 when the thought of changing “Diapers” doesn’t disgust you.
👶🏻when you have “Partied” a lot & would love to stay at “ Home”.
👶🏻when “Work-life” can take a it little “Set-Back”.( specially women’s).
👶🏻when your normal “Sunday” outing have become boring & outdated.
👶🏻when you yourself want to “Act” like a baby.
👶🏻 when you as a women are ready to accept the new change in your body.
👶🏻 when clean homes can go a bit “Messy”.
👶🏻when you want to hear those soft baby voice call you “ Mumma & Papa”.
👶🏻 when your instinct says “it’s time”.

No where it’s said “Parenthood “ would be easy but definitely “worth it”.
