When its Lockdown, then where to do outing 🤔 oh yeah we have terrace. I can ride my vehicle on the top under the sky. 

Daily for 1 hour she used to spent her time in the lap of nature which is really very important for getting connected to nature as well as for physical growth too. 😍

Since the very dawn of human civilization, Mother Nature and the Forces of nature are being worshiped . Our fore fathers knew that the very existence of human and life on this earth is due to nature . They worshiped Sun, Moon, Water and many such forces of nature. The Peepal trees and the Banyan trees are worshipped all across India !! The tulsi tree is a must in every Hindu house hold.
Thus our ancestors were aware of the environment and its role in our existence building. Man and nature are inseparable and thus we have to take care of Mother Nature ..
Here I would like to talk about one particular festival that we celebrate in Orissa ( may be celebrated in other states too with some other names ) it's called Samba Dashmi where we worship the Sun God our very own Surya Dev!!

Samba Dasmi vrat also know as Surya Puja is observed on the 10 th day of Shukla Paksha in Pausa month in Odisha.

Legends or Samba Dasami vrat katha say that Samba, the son of Lord Sri Krishna, was affected by leprosy. He performed a severe penance for Surya Bhagwan and was cured. On this day, mothers perform Surya Puja to please Surya Bhagawan and to keep their childrenhealthy.
On the day of Samba Dashami, the women in the family wake before sunrise. After bathing they prepare dishes such as Khichdi, Oriya Puli, and Ghadghadia Tarkari (a curry), and offer them to the Sun God at sunrise.. One of the specific characters of this ritual is variety of individual food item is offered to Sun God in the name of each member of the family, especially children. Once the food items have been offered to the Surya, the women prepare a set of cake-like dishes called Pitha (cake), which includes Manda Pitha, Kakara Pitha, Poda Pitha, Arisha Pitha, Biri Laddoo, Makar Chaula,Chhenaguda, Dhanu Muaan, Khiri, Rasagola, Jhilli, Chhenagaja, and Sweet Curd.

At noon, a bowl of turmeric water with betel in it is taken to ‘chaunra mula’ (a small temple-like structure with a Tulsi plant overhead). All the cooked food is served on plates. The women in the family view the Sun God through the bowl of turmeric water and offer all the dishes to the Sun God. They read the legend of ‘Samba Dasami Brata Katha’ and pray for the well-being of all family members.

In the evening, another Puja is observed as a part of the Samba Dasami ritual. This is ‘Mahakala Puja', in which special Budha Chakuli is offered to Yama.

Thus we Learn that preserving and caring and respecting our environment dates back to ages .. Nature is God n God is Nature!!

SAND PLAYING BY KIDS


In previous day's during my childhood we use to play with sand. All our friends in our quarters use to play together during evenings. That's a great entertainment and fun for us. We can explore our creativity by playing in different ways.


Now a days everyone is thinking like playing in sand is not good. Some are like no time to bring kids for sand play. And few people are bringing kids to park for Playing with sand. Whatever the reason might be here is my opinion in playing with sand. 


Nature play is always better than others. Kids learn a lot of things while playing in sand. While playing in sand don't interfere in their play. It doesn't mean to not do anything even if they pour on heads. We have to take care of all those things. Just give them freedom to play as however they want to play. They can explore their creativity, share tools of sand play kit and compromise and learn from others.


It's also a kind of developing fine motor skills. While they lift sand in buckets and move it to other place. Hand eye coordination will be there. While others play like pretend play to make road and path and follow the actions. Putting rubber animals on the road side and play with different creative thoughts. Making different forms of shapes by imazing in their thoughts. Kids should feel the touch to sand by digging the sand and moulding the sand. 


Kids learn to know about new words while playing in sand like number of buckets, how much sand, less, more, more weight, less weight and many more to go. We can also create some play like, Take a waste bottle and put hole to it and fill it with sand. Now ask kid to draw something like numbers or figures anything. That's a kind of play. Sand art.


As kids play in sand they communicate with each other kids and speaking and listening will also be improved. Language skills will be improved.


They can have full of fun and entertainment with learning in sand and nature. Kids love to play in sand. They feel more and more happy.


🌟 My Tashya loves to play with sand and outing in nature. She digs sand with her tool kit and plough it and then take it to a small bucket and shifts that bucket to other place. Same continues again and again.

'My favourite corner'
Hi mommies!

I love this window corner of my bedroom.
Every morning after getting up from my bed, the very first thing I used to do is opening this window and have a look at these beautiful plants. 
I start my day☀️ by having a cup of tea ☕and enjoy the outside view by sitting just at that upper black marble slab you can see in the picture.
This is the place where I used to sit and enjoy writing my poetry.
This is the corner where now it has become a kind of tradition for me and Aman(hubby) to sit and enjoy our evening tea ☕ together on every weekend as it is his favourite corner too.
The strong fragrance🍃 of lemongrass specially in rainy days 🌧️ is something you really can't miss to have a cup of lemon tea!
The middle 🌹 plant which you can see in the picture is the one which gives me a beautiful rose after every 2-3 days which I used to offer to God in the temple of my home!
I am still thinking to add up some more plants beside Jasmine to give it a company.....😀😀
This is the corner where I used to sit with mivaan and show him parrots 🦜 whenever he 👶becomes cranky!
