@Rebecca Prakash hi if i have coconut water, lassi, buttermilk will it cause cold to my baby as she is 2 months old and on bf?? is it that if i have cold things like any fridge items, fruits, or cold drinks will its affect my baby as she is on bf?

Yes , and occasionally you can also have. See you buy an ice cream and eat , its not the ice cream cold which have you cold but icecream would have been contaminated with bacteria and it was passed to you. Its just an example I'm giving you. Same way cold drink bottle is handled by many and we use our hands and drink ,bacteria is passed.

Hi Rashmi first your food got no connection to baby's discomfort. You get cold out of infection and the infection will never pass through breast milk, So you can have everything. Having said this if you catch cold then baby might catch cold because you keep touching your baby. But drinking something cold doesn't cause cold to the baby.
