@Rebecca Prakash hi mam.. i had given my baby BCG injection on 11th May.. the injection and the polio drops were given in front of me only by the nurse.. but few days back one of my neighbors asked me whether the baby has got that injection mark on her hand.. she said after BCG injection babies get white color spot on the arm where the injection was given but my baby doesn't have that mark.. its not visible on her hand. so is it mandatory that the mark has to be there n should be visible??

Wait for 6 weeks the blister will appear and if after 6 week the blister does not appear to have a word about it with your pediatrician it is normal because few in hundred of babies do not get the reaction but that does not mean they are not imune further treatment will be done by your pediatrician do not worry

Hi no it's not mandatory to have mark ,if your baby is light skinned it will not be visible or it may be visible after few months, There is nothing to worry about, It's mandatory and every hospital including government hospitals does it before the discharge and the same can be seen in baby's file also.
