@Dr Shilpitha Singh I have anovulatory cycles and I have been put on letrozole 2.5 mg 2 tabs at bedtime from day 3 to day 7. I was asked to visit next on day 9 for follicle monitoring and prediction of ovulation. Now my question is today is day 7 and I have on and off pain in the left side abdomen. Is it possible that I could be ovulating early since I am on letrozole?? Or do I wait till 9th day to get checked? Thanks

Yes of course the doctor whom I consulted in Delhi had so many success story with Letrozole and she was upset it's banned, this was back in 2013. Anyways good to know it's back and all the best to you.

@5fedec01cccb6d0014097596 letrozole was banned from 2011-Jan 2017... But now after thorough medical research It has been approved for fertility use by the government now. I had got pregnant on letrozole last time too but ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks reason unknown. But surely letrozole did not cause it because I have 2 friends who concieved on letrozole and went on to have healthy babies. Clomiphene did not work for them so they were put on letrozole

if u were midcycle i would also consider ovuln or enlarged folllicles as a cause.
