A home bound Ramadan..
.
.
This Ramadan is going to be absolutely different for all of us. A totally home bound one..didn’t really imagine this way at all. I am a little upset because the congregation Taraweeh I was planning to do this year wouldn’t happen. In the previous years I had to skip going to masjid as Simra was little.Ever since last Ramadan I have been telling my husband that the next Ramadan I’ll be coming along with you for prayers..but you see Allah’s planning is always different from what we plan to do.
.
.
Now looking onto other side of it, this Ramadan will be more about spending it with our family...I’ll be spending more time in Ibadah Inshaallah as we won’t be doing any iftar get togethers, eid shopping and going out to eat..also due to shortage of groceries there’ll be less time being spent over cooking which is in a way going to make more time for us to do what we should be doing ‘ibaadah and only ibaadah’🌸
.
.
What I’ll be doing with my three year old:
🌸Learning surahs and ayats
🌸Making her sit with me and do some dikhr
🌸Made a sadaqah jar for her!
🌸Story telling about prophets!
🌸Salah time with her Inshaallah
.
.
In a way this Ramadan is going to be a blessed one because it is how it was supposed to be..and finally we will be doing it in a spiritual and right way Inshaallah. Ramadan Mubarak everyone.. May Allah bless us in this pious month with his choicest blessings Ameen.
