According to my Lmp my pregnancy age is 36 weeks. but yesterday my last ultrasound is done...in this ultrasound AUA ( actual ultrasound age) is 35 weeks. why it is.

hi. there is normally a discrepancy of few days to a  week or so between gestational age by lmp n by ultrasound. babies age by lmp is an estimate as u may have conceived at any time within the cycle yet the calculation remains same fr all. whereas age by ultrasound is a better estimate as it measures actual growth. however the age and edd seen in ur first scan is more reliable. as long as baby has shown adequate interval growth from previous scans dont worry.  tc
