After delivery is it normal to get mood swings? I feel very irritated at small things. Is this depression? What can i do?

Yes it's common. As so many people give you different instructions try to spend more time with your baby and husband.

its post partum depression ... its ok .. its normal .. go with the flow ... its because suddenly all the attention from u has shifted to the baby and u feel neglected... so do things that make u happy when u get time .. also through the day take sometime out for yourself . it will pass . dont worry

it's a phase and shall pass too..all of us have been there at some point of time..give yourself some me time..distract your mind..read books, listen to soothing music, pamper yourself..go for <u>spa</u>

Hi I can't give you professional advice. But being 18 weeks postpartum by experience can share a few things. Firstly please surround yourself with positive people, learn to say No to things you don't agree, mother's instinct is the best. And remember that you are not alone in this. All over the world mothers like us experience this. When time passes as your little baby grows and smiles and plays, you will remember that's its all worth the effort! Cheers

hey Anon. Its a phase and will pass soon. I know new responsibilities, baby care everything is new but trust me you can do it. Just stay positive and feel that you have given birth to a baby which is a big thing in itself.
