AMLA / GOOSEBERRY CHUTNEY . 🥣Ingredients🥣 🥣Indian gooseberry or amla – 250 gms (6 to 7 amlas) 🥣Jaggery or gud – 1 cup 🥣Ghee or oil – 2 tablespoons 🥣A pinch of asafoetida or hing 🥣Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Saunf or fennel seeds – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Black pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon 🥣Salt to taste . Recipe- 🥣Boil the amlas 🥣Let it cool down. Deseed them 🥣Mash them up 🥣Pour 2 tbsp ghee/ oil in a wok 🥣Add mashed amlas and jaggery 🥣Cook on low flame 🥣Jaggery will soon melt 🥣Add all the spices 🥣Mix well 🥣Cook on med flame ! Tadda it’s ready Can be stored in refrigerator and used upto 15 days
