Sindhis practice the gogda/nag Panchami thadda today, cooking everything a day before. Nothing on the day of Pooja is to be freshly made for consumption. Just finished doing the final and the most important food item, the Lola :-) it is a thick bread made of WWF , sugar syrup and water, toasted on a skillet till golden Brown in colour. It is soft, yet crunch and is heavenly. if you have been brought up in or near a sindhi family, you have definitely had some and know what I mean. Also on my menu today is Sindhi delicacy of Daal-Pakwaan , koki, and Chehri Poori (poori with spices and condiments). Wishing everyone here a Happy Thadri :-)
