Barley Moong Dal Khichdi

Ingredients :
1. Barley - ¼ cup wash
2. Yellow Moong Dal - 2 tbsped and soaked overnight
3. Turmeric Powder - ⅛ Tsp
4. Water - As required
5. Ghee- 1 Tsp

Preparation :
1. In a pressure cooker add a tsp of ghee and let it melt.
2. Now add the soaked barley with moong dal and turmeric
3. Add one cup of water and mix well.
4. Pressure cook everything in a medium flame for3-4 whistles.
5. Once the pressure releases, open the cooker.
6. Mash it well with a masher until soft or use a blender.
7. Add water if required for the consistency.
8. Serve lukewarm and feed with a baby spoon

Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
