Hi;All I am Ankita Chopra. I would like to introduce myself and my hashtag # second innings. I have 11years of experience in IT industry. I left my Job because of my daughter. I don’t trust daycare system neither wanted to leave my daughter with maids because of following reasons;

ü;;Trust Factor: You are always worried checking CCTV footage. Calling maid what is he/she doing. You are not able to relax you mind for a single minute at least I was not.

ü;;Dependency on which you can’t Depend on:;; You can’t control the environment what your child potentially be eating , learning etc. You are always worried. Supposedly if your child is sick you have to manage on your own because that time your child absolutely needs you. You can’t depend or trust maid or daycare or instruct them if he/she is not eating roti give him /her soup or sheera . Also, every time I asked for leave or work from home from my manager it was lot of hassle and demotivation because the way Indian managers make you feel.

ü;;Leaves:;If your maid is on leave or day care is not open on Indian holidays which you would not get ;generally in Private MNC’s for example you ;don’t get leave on Ganesh Chaturthi generally .

ü;;Also Day care have age limits you cant leave your child once the child turns 8 or 9.

So, I left my job and started looking for unconventional ways of earning money for my independence.;The journey is tough but let me tell you not impossible. The road is not smooth and extremely difficult as it is less travelled by others.;
