Being a Working mom, I have to juggle with both personal n professional responsibilities. This is tough but if u have a supporting family then things become easier.
I had to travel to 3 different cities for official purpose for 10 long days. My daughter was hardly 11 months old and I was still breastfeeding her...
Then came my family for my rescue, my mother in law accompanied for half of the trip to take care of my baby when i was on duty and during later half, her Papa (my hubby) joined us.
One thing i learned from the trip was if your baby is accompanying u..make sure u have someone whom she is comfortable and familiar with.. such things make your job easy...
Secondly, make sure u carry comfortable clothes that are easy to wash if get dirty..preferable cotton clothes that r easy to wash and dry easily
third, carry bibs and burp clothes that would avoid spilling of food on their clothes
Fourth, Some familiar toys and child books should be the travel partner
Fifth, carry basic medicines for emergency
Sixth, some food supplements that r easy to make in case of remote areas where regular food is no available easily
Seventh mother herself should wear comfortable clothes that would make things easier for her too
Eight, During long travels, poop, burp or vomit are common scenarios in case of babies, make sure u carry extra pair of clothes in ur diaper bag
Ninth, Ur diaper bag should have extra disposable bags, wipes, teether/soothing toys, sipper, 3-4 diapers, bib& burp clothes, sanitizer, baby lotion, rash cream, muslin blanket (atleast 2)
Tenth, Happy mother keeps the child happy, so relax and enjoy the trip..
