Here are a few tips so you have a Rocking Karwachauth. 1.Fasting through the day is not easy so you need to be careful about what you eat before and after the fast.
2. Sargi- your meal before the fast should be nutrient dense,full of fibre and that which gives you sustained energy through the day.
Opt for Fruits,dryfruits,nuts.
3.Avoid caffeine as it will dehydrate you a fresh juice or lime water would be the best drink. Avoid fried food or too sugary foods.
Have good amount of liquids.
4. Enjoy all the attention and pampering through the day. Spend time doing things you like so hunger pangs don't take over you.Read a book,watch a movie or simply do what you like. Stay indoors or in a cool atmosphere so you don't lose water.
5. The moon is Smiling and so are you!Time to break the fast!
Have light foods. Heavy oily food may give you digestion issues,hence best avoided.
6.Have food rich in protein and fibre.Nuts and dryfruits again is a good option.
7. A light meal with roti sabji and dal chawal will be ideal.

9. Avoid overeating.
