This is how I depicted and narrated the birth story of Lord Ganesha to my 2 year old son this Ganesh Chaturthi using his toys, blocks and figurines :)
In the pic - Lord Shiva meditating on ice covered Kailash Parvat (kinetic sand and cotton), Parvati bathing after creating Ganesha from the dirt, and little Ganesha then guarding the house. Four Ganaas (orange) ready to go and find a head as per Shiva's order.
