Hola peeps. We're here with yet another book recommendation. We're a little late for this week's book review but better late than never.
.
Rooster Raga from @tulikabooks is our current favourite. Written by @writesnatasha and beautifully illustrated by @priyakuriyan this book has managed to keep Shaarav spellbound with its vibrant pictures and foot-tapping tunes left to use to your imagination.
.
Ruru is a handsome rooster who's unable to get his crow right. He asks his animal friends for help and inspiration but all in vain. He gets very disappointed with himself until his rooster friends explain to him how unique he is. He finds it really amusing that others think of him as unique and not a castaway and fills him with confidence.
.
The storyline is simple for toddlers with a very important and powerful message that the uniqueness in you is what makes you different and special! You just have to believe in yourself that you're awesome!
.
Going with the story we did a little activity related to it. We tried our hands at making Ruru from the book. Though we terribly failed at it but we thoroughly enjoyed our storytelling session. 🤗😇
