A ;new mom's;breastfeeding;experience can be as unique as her baby. Some take to it like they've been doing it forever, while others struggle through pain, infections and supply issues.
My advice would be to be stubborn about it! If you are determined to make it work, then you will.;

I was admitted in the hospital on 21st march 2018 at 6. AM and delivered my sweet baby at 5 PM on the same day via normal delivery. I was asked to breastfeed the baby after 1 hour. I tried a lot to breastfeed her but because of no milk she was crying. I did everything like circular massage , washing with luke water etc . etc. But all failed . Only a few drops of colorostrum was there so i feed her with spoon.

On seeing this my husband brought formula milk at night On the second day she started latching and there was a pain when she latched and my reaction was " mere ko itching hoti hai " .

My husband was laughing when i was saying it. But there was a poor milk supply.
The doctor suggested tonic to improve breastmilk supply and i also started mother's horlicks. My husband also took it. On seeing this i said " its a mother's horlicks not father's horlicks " 😁😁
I was thinking that I was less than a woman and a bad mom. My husband did ardaas ( praying god) that my baby should get breast milk .

On the day i was discharged i found drops of milk coming out of my nipples . I was very happy to see it .
Now she is completely dependent on breast milk. I think breastfeed creates a close connection between mother and child . It strengthens the bond between mother and child.It is beneficial for both the mother and baby .

For baby it is a complete source of nutrition, boots immunity, better cognitive development etc .

I will recommend breast milk for the child to all the mothers.
