sorry for this delayed response. very busy with shifting house etc. I feel yes today's dr push to go for C-section. I met someone a few months ago. she had a gap of 5+yrs for 1st and 2nd child and in the 4th-5th month Dr said you have to go for C-section only because gap between 2 children is more. I also got her clarified if there is any complications but she was perfectly alright and then got to know recently she delivered a baby girl 2 weeks before due date and reason was normal is not possible as there is a gap of 5 yrs and something will happen to the baby if not delivered by C. I was shocked to know this and that too by a very famous dr in and around this area. I feel it is truly money making. I have come across a few Dr's who try not to push for C also but most of the Dr's today do it.

I have been lucky to get a very good gynac.... both the times i had normal delivery. during the second pregnancy my doc had advised c sec, reason being low lying placenta. she had explained clearly y i shud b ready for c sec. however i got pains n inspite of low placenta n cord around the neck of the baby , my gynac administered a normal delivery. so doctor s play a vital role in evaluating the condition of both mother n baby and taking appropriate decisions.

very needed topic @616d0591b34e550013eb9a72 here itself I believe in mother guts starts well.. as @rakhi pure said... but still v shud b safe enough on delivery too... I ve seen during my delivery people voluntarily opting c sec... the hospital which I choose will always supports normal but young mothers desperately wanted c sec even there s no complications... it was bit upset when I saw he peoples mind set have changed... so doctors make use of them.. both r responsible fa that .. I guess... in my case... I was the one who s waiting for normal nd stayed at hospital fa one week as am waiting fa normal.... but I ve seen other c sec moms who s admitted on the day of c sec and two days more they stay here.. they ve just come hv c sec nd go... they found t is too...

Thanks for tag Priya..One more incident i want to share here... One of my clients case. As everyone family preferred normal delivery. Gyno has suggested c section as she had narrow viginal space... Still family was not ready for c section..So they tried giving her gel n injection for induced pain. While delivery baby shoulder was struck... And difficult to come out...Somehow it's a baby girl... And was healthy. She is an angel ( so cute n beautiful). But later come to know that...During delivery one of the nerves near shoulder was slipped on each other. Now that baby is 6 yrs and can't left her hand. They are going through physiotherapy from the day the condition was diagnosed. I personally feel... If labour pain is set in and if we go to labour pain naturally...Then fine. The Best option. If anyone have crossed due date and still with no symptoms, then better to go for c-section than induced pain than all those circus.
