Calcium is required to build your baby's bones, teeth, nervous system, muscles while in the womb. If the mother does not have adequate calcium intake this requirement will be taken from her reserves which could mean bone density compromise for the mom or inadequate development for the baby. You need three servings of calcium every day and some of the sources are skimmed milk, curds, lassi, paneer, cheese, green leafy vegetables, ragi, sesame seeds etc. So make sure you get the required calcium intake for a healthy baby and a healthy mom.
