can anyone tell me about distasis racti and how to know whether I am having it or not?

Lie on your back. Fold your legs such that the knees are pointing toward the ceiling. Now do a small sit up. Feel for your belly button and just above the belly button try to feel the gap between the abdominal muscles. If the gap is more than a finger you have diastasis recti and you will need to do some exercises to help correct the same. diastasis rectii is a separation of the left n right abdominal muscles. its common in pregnant n postpregnant condition. if u feel there is a pouch formation on ur tummy when u strain- get it checked asap to see if its present n how severe it is.
