Can I add breastmilk instead of cows milk in the solid food for my 5 Nd half month old baby?

Rashmi cow milk in little quantity is absolutely fine. If you are making porridges, kheer etc you can add little bit of cow milk, only in direct form we should not offer as milk protein is hard to digest. Why we should not add BM or fm to baby s food is.. It will mask the food with its smell and taste. Say if you are offering ragi porridge with mix of bm it will smell and taste of bm. So the baby will not know the taste of ragi..

Yes that's the way because cow milk is not given to baby till 1 year. start solid after 6 month

Solids should be start once the baby completes 6 months, no if you want to add milk to make something you can very well add little cow milk( only direct form of drinking is not good) do not add BM to the food, because it will mask the taste of the original food.
