Teaching values to toddlers!!
Hello moms,
I would want to share a thought which came across my mind when i was speaking to my daughters classmate mother yesterday at school..
She told me that her daughter goes to classes wherein they teach values n recite prayers.
Listening to this i felt amazed at the fact the people are ready to mint money on everything under the sun..
Teaching values to your kid does it require classes???

I was of the opinion that these things get pass on automatically when a child observes daily rituals at home..
At my place , morning time when i pray i recite Vakratund Mahakaya, Ganesh Chalisa, Mahamritunjaya mantra, gayatri mantra ,etc a loud .
My daughter must be listening to all this daily..even if she is playing.
Now she also recites all this along with me since the time she was 3 years old ..
I did not compel her to learn it ..
Its just that my reciting these aloud as a morning ritual daily she grasped it .
So i believe a little efforts from parents will do a great deal in shaping up spiritual aspect in kids.
As major learning of toddlers takes place by observation of everyone’s behaviour.
We can ask them to simply Thank God for the food, water, air and the sunlight.
This builds an optimistic approach in the child and an attitude of gratitude towards everything through prayers.
