I'm sure all moms here will have a chipkoo story! So when my childoo was a baby, she was permanently glued to my hip! She would want to go, where I went. So much so, that I couldn't even pee in peace! Grrrrr! Honestly, my greatest relaxation was a long warm bath in the evening when my hubby would take her out for a stroll around the block!
But the funniest incident I remember of her clinginess is when I went to get my hair cut. Finally, in a new city I discovered a hairstylist I could trust but baby didn't want to leave me. She brought the salon down when I was to get my hair washed (something I was reeeeeally looking forward to). But no. No rest or relaxation for the wicked, as they say!
So madam baby sat on my tummy while my hair was being washed. I honestly don't remember what happened after that, but I did manage to get a blunt cut!
[Special note to expecting moms and new moms - pls don't worry, it gets better real soon. Now I'm able to get my hair washed & cut, all by myself in a very nice place that has a chair that gives me a back massage while my hair is being washed! Some good karma, naa?! :) ]
