Cloth Books ( Soft Books)!
I am writing this share the various reasons on why I introduced Cloth Books to my baby girl Yakira as early as 3 months!
is enjoying and engaged with cloth book!
⚠️ The cloth books are Washable, less-toxic and Tear resistant!
I wash it every alternative day so clean to an extend.
They are generally made of fabric and particularty not plastic making, thus making them less toxic.
These are tear resistant, thus no fear of her swallowing the particles.
🔈Sensory Skills
The crinkle sound on the first and last page, gives the feel of touch and sound.
She keeps scratching them for sound and wonders from what she is hearing, isn't that adorable.
🖐 Motor Skills
Their design makes it easy for her to grab, she holds it by herself. She even tries to turn pages. Thus simple exercises for my three month old.
Sometimes I put the book near her foot, she just feels them and kicks the book.
I preferably do this activity before putting it to wash.
🦷 It is also has a teether.
Now, she is almost 4 months old and she puts everything in her mouth. So since this has a teether and it is cloth based, I am feeling this as a better option for her to hand and bother less when she takes it in her mouth.
I find this as a safe and engaging option. It works best for me bcoz, she enjoys it !
I also tell her the same story everyday of why I got her this type of cloth book.
I bought her three books till now,
1. Types of Dress
2. Seasons
3. Farm Animals
I offer only two books at a time.
And one book the entire day.
There is a whole world of topics and activities when it comes to cloth books. There are concepts like, potty training, sleep time activities and a lot more apart from stories.
They are in affordable range starting from Rs 299 onwards.
