Colic is a condition seen in babies around the age of 2-5 weeks. Experts haven’t been able to identify the exact cause of colic pain but they believe that it’s a result of overfeeding and digestive problems.
Babies with colic pain have a special kind of cry that lasts for about 3 hours. it is a sudden cry which is high-pitched and involves screaming.
When in colic pain babies tend to cry louder than normal and tend to stiff their arms, arch their back, tighten the abdominal muscles and in a few cases, pass gas.  
This discomforting condition usually settles or gets better by the age of 3-4 months.
