Dalia/Wheat cracks Khichdi::Recipe for 6-7 month old or more Cereal-pulse powder:: Take broken wheat/dalia and soaked-washed moong dal in 2:1 ratio.Roast it and powder it.Can be stored in air tight container for a month. Cooking:: Take 4 tbs of mixture in a pan stir it on low flame add water and formula milk 1 tsp..(optional) if older kid then cow milk could be used also .Let it shimmer and get cooked till it forms a nice smooth pureed texture.Transfer in colourful baby bowl and serve lukewarm. Note:: For elder kids or even gradually mashed vegetables like carrot potato or pumpkin could be added along with salt/sugar/jaggery as per preference to make a complete meal.
Even new mommies can have Dalai made just like khichdi..easy to digest and healthy.. Happy feeding😊
