We landed at Dubai yesterday afternoon and were welcomed by pleasant weather neither too cold nor too hot. Though it became windy and little cold in the evening but it was nice.
As much as I was excited to see the amazing architecture of the sky scrapers and the iconic Bhurj Khalifa on our way to Hotel my son on the other hand was like: Mumma what you are showing me only buildings and buildings.
This gave me an alert that unless I have something which excites him, he is not going to enjoy this trip. And I got the reality check for the same in the evening when we went To The Top of Bhurj Khalifa. While all of us were admiring the view, the efforts been put behind the construction of the world’s tallest building, my son had breakdown and he became cranky and started crying. He was in no mood to get clicked even and On asking him multiple times, he told that he want to go back to Bangalore and he is not enjoying. That was it.. now we had to figure out something to uplift his mood and then ice cream and fountain show came as a saviour.
Hoping that he will enjoy rest of the days with the itinerary we already have in place.
Learning for the day: plan your trip which have things of your child interest else your trip will never be enjoyable. Also educate your child about the places you are going to visit in your vacation.
Children always wants something which excites them... This point is to be noted.
