Dear all, I am an employee so I want to resume my work from next week as my maternity leave got over and my kid is five months old now as we can give solid food from 6 th month. I need a suggestion about how many hours the breast milk taken out using breast pump can be stored outside for feeding baby when I am in the office and how to store breast milk?

If you plan to join work anytime soon, you could start storing some from now and train yourself and your baby to the feeding routine.
Feed the expressed milk by spoon Nd cup.

Store in a covered container and attempt to keep the milk as cool as possible. Write the date on the container, store milk in the back of the fridge where temp are cooler. Do not reheat the milk, thaw it by placing the container in a bowl of warm water.

Expressed breast milk can be stored at room temperature for 3-4 hours, in cooler for 24 hours, refrigerator for 3-8 days and freezer for 6-12 months.

hi at room temperature the expressed milk can be kept for 4 hours. and you can store your breastmilk in the fridge. you can store the breastmilk for 2 days. store it in the bottle you will be feeding the baby as it will be easier for other caregivers. place a bowl of water on the stove and as it begins to simmer out the bottle in it to warm it. or you can just get a electric bottle warmer which is very convenient and warms the bottle evenly.
