Good morning dears , here goes my first post for today. .
I was born n brought up in Hyderabad the 'city of pearls' the then Andhra Pradesh on 18 july 86..
Born to a middle class family, i was their third daughter in the chance of a son.. My granny told my mom to take another chance after already having two twin daughters.. She was content n happy with them bt as u all knw our families always want sons as well.. About my mom n granny's relation it was like typical sas bahu story.. My mom was very scared of her cz she was very strict n being a mother of 10kids it wasnt easy for her to take care of the entire family so she used to keep her bahus under control.. My mom being from a simple family in agra where she was the youngest to her 5 brothers never heard a loud voice n in this family everyone was outspoken n loud spoken.. 😀

She had a typical life as a bahu bt after 3rd n 4th daughter in law my granny became a lil linient bt her daughters (my buas) used to rule still.. Anyways those were the days mil's were like tat.. Good thing was my grand mother wasnt a discriminator for girl n boy bt she jus wanted his son's name n fame to be taken over after him..

My parents Mr. Anil gupta n Usha gupta had a typical arranged marriage in which they didnt see each other before the marriage day, the relation was fixed by my grand father who was a great personality.. Unlike my grand father none of his 6 sons have a personality like him.. He had a great life n death too.. He had all ups n downs of life n got married very soon as u knw in the past teens were married n had kids at the age when they were still kids n didnt knw how to handle kids.. Ha ha ha.. So coming back to my life, my father was a rigid man in his young age n my mom being a simple girl thin n average heighted.. He didnt wanted to marry her cz of less height.. He was a dreamer n a lovee of bollywood movies so he wanted to marry someone like the old 80 ki actresses .. 😃

By hook or by crook he had to get married as it was the day n tat turned to be the best marriage.. After 4yrs of married life my mom n dad were blessed with two lovely twin daughters (my sisters) Poonam n Pooja.. Thn after 2yrs i was born n happiness was still the same as our family is a lover for kids n dosent care abt the gender much..

I grew up in almost a joint family type atmosphere for many years I was the youngest child thn my chachas got married n our family grew likewise.. I have 10 cousins including the eldest n youngest n other 7 from bua's.. My granny had 10kids 6sons n 4daughters of which my youngest bua passes away in her 20's.. I am told as her repleca..

My elder sisters love me, nag me n at times hate me cz i am very different from them, i am a lil organised wherein they are not.. I dnt remember i ever fought with my sisters or any cousins or any school mates, i was a simple living girl bt my sisters were very naughty n being twins they took more advantage. . Ha ha !
Bt as we grew up n the bond we share is immenss n beyond words ...
How many of you are from families like this big n wat relation ur mother n granny shared? How was or is ur family now??
