Diaper bag
Diaper bag is a must when you have a baby. It’s like a home away from home. You have to carry everything you need for your baby in the diaper bag once you step out of your home. Remember It’s your handbag too, as there’s no way for you to carry handbag for yourself along with diaper bag. So when ever you buy a diaper bag, try to buy one with lots of pockets.

I bought a backpack diaper bag for Yaachu as for me backpacks are always comfortable. And I always said no to blue, when it come to color. Pink for girl and blue for boy is never acceptable for me. What says you? Yaachu’s diaper bag is red. What was your diaper bag’s color?

I will be listing the things that I carry in my diaper bag. Please comment the things you carry apart from my list.

• A portable changing pad.
That’s available with almost every diaper bag. It’s very useful whenever you have to change diapers.

• Diapers
1- 2 for every hour you plan to be out

• Disposable diaper wet wipes
You can use small pouch inorder to reduce weight of the bag.

• Dry tissues
You’ll need a lot of them once you go out with baby.

• Plastic bags
To wrap up dirty diapers or hold wet clothes it’s a must in diaper bag. Carry 2-3 as you can’t predict your baby.

• Diaper rash ointment
When ever you change diaper you will need this.

Cloths for burping
To avoid soiling your clothes never forget to keep them in your diaper bag.

• Small bottle of hand sanitizer.
Very important as safety is the first thing when it’s about your baby.

• Clothes for baby.
Carry2-3 clothes as there’s chance for clothes getting soiled.

• Baby food
Formula and flask with warm water if you’re formula feeding or porridge and feeder if baby is on solids.

• Pacifier
You can keep pacifier attached to string handy in diaper bag.

• Rattles or toys
To distract and keep the baby calm keep something of his choice.

• Sanitary disposal bags
To discard used diapers keep them in the bag.

• A pair of dress for yourself
I always keep atleast a top for myself as there were many situations yaachu burped and spoiled my dress. So better to be prepared well in advance.
