Each pregnancy and birth story is unique and special. A written birthplan can encourage unrealistic expectations because the truth is we can't plan the childbirth, the timing, the amount of pain a woman can tolerate, the length of labor, the size and direction of baby's head, the contractions or how well the baby will tolerate labor.
When and how you deliver may be beyond your control. What you can control is how you deal with the unexpected and how you feel about what happens. One thing always keep in mind that a healthy baby should be delivered in the safest way possible.
My expected delivery date was 21st November 2018. But from September, I prepared myself for childbirth. I just wanted my baby safe and healthy whether it's a girl or a boy. I started labor pain on 31st October 2018 which was quite surprising and much before the expected date too. But as I was prepared by mind, it was wonderful experience for me. My parents and hospital staff made this childbirth successful. Because of proper conditions, I had normal delivery and during the whole time span I was absolutely calm.
