Educational toys, activities to keep our kids busy and channelise their energy is worry for all of us. Here I am trying to share my thought and type of toys / stuff we should buy or invest in for out kids. Many a times we think our child is small but if he gets any such toy on his birthday and he loves to play with that and excels in that we are most happiest in world. Here is my segregation of toys and types : 1. Talking Toys
These toys are which have some lights and sounds and play music / rhymes / number song / alphabets/ colours etc. Kids love to press buttons and enjoy sounds and listen to music and learn from it. These are mostly first if toys we buy for out kids. 2. Sports stuff
If you kid like sports then get them all types of stuff in which ever sport they show interest from bat & ball, football, badminton racquet, other types of balls, frisbee, skates, dart board, bow & arrow... All these help kids in building concentration and also in lot of physical activity. ๐พโฝ๐๐๐ธ๐๐๐ฒ 3. Board games
These can be anything as simple as Ludo, snake and ladder to puzzles to teaching stuff. You can start from simpler version like fix puzzles to match the stuff which comes in all topics fruits flowers body parts to memory games. These help in memory development and also they learn lot of new stuff. This you can start when kids start understanding things. ๐ฒ 4. Books
If your kid loves exploring books and also show interest in reading and listening to stories buy them as many as you can. My son is not interested in reading but he likes to explore when he see new images. So someone like him I got set of 10 books which helped him know about vegetables, fruits, colours, numbers, birds animals. Etc. This is good for all age groups. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ 4. DIY toys
These are more like the stuff where kids get to explore the product. Like my son have a truck and some tools with it. He unscrew every nut bolt and takes off all parts and then put them back in place. More such options are available depending on age group. ๐๐๐ 5. Messy stuff ๐
I am saying messy stuff as I am talking about play dough, kinetic sand, painting brush colours and even gardening. Kids gonna surely make mess around house when they are playing with any of these but these are good to let me explore their creativity. Gardening they need your assistance for sure. Involve them for watering plants or taking off dry leaves. They enjoy plain water.๐จ๐จ๐จ 6. Building blocks
This is suitable for all age groups again just the block sizes vary. For tiny ones pick up big block and for toddlers you can get then their choice Legos or similar. I love these personally as you get to see your child imagination in building a tall tower or some weirdo robot it a proper Lego. Worth investing money on them. 6. Soft toys
Find them all shapes and sixez, all colours, all patterns and even the favourite character from toon world for your child. They are good for infants but good companion for kids on their travel to go. They just feel they have someone with them. Many moms are more find of soft toys then their kids. ๐ฏ๐ ๐พ๐ป 7. Miscellaneous
This part is like stuff which I just buy as part of impulse shopping for my kid and either he out grows it pretty or losses interest in that very soon. But still they are required like bouncy ball, some tiny minions, MC D happy meal toys.. all these fit in this section. If you throw them out of a blue one fine day your child will ask for it and you won't remember where it is. So keep them safe.๐๐๐ Hope this is helpful for all of you... Happy Parenting.. #beingmom
