Every celebration is special when its with my little one. This Diwali, I made sure that I involve my 2 year old in all festivities and preparations.
Here I am sharing few ideas we all can do to engage our ever exploring toddler during the festivities. I am sure some of us can correlate and try these as well with their kids.
1. I have got a book on festivals where I read to him every time to make him understand.
2. I made Rangoli with his involvement as well. I gave him spoon and fork and made him do the way he want.
3. While I was filling Rangoli, he identified colours with me and helped me pick one and keep it back.
4. I made various big and small circles and he counted them one by one.
5. Since now is the time when he repeats whatever we say. So I named everything before him when we sat for Pooja and he kept on repeating his way.
6. This time we are introducing colours to him and he was so overwhelmed whenever we go out as he could see every colour lights.

This way I was able to prepare well for Diwali without any fuss.

We clicked a lot of photos and had fun filled Diwali with our family.

And I was happy because this year he actually enjoyed everything as he could understand with learning.
