Every other day I hear from parents that my kid is a fussy eater..
This make them worried if their little bundle of joys are getting enough nutrition or not..
I am sharing some tips which work for me as a parent..
Hope it will work for some of you and solve your problems...
.
.
🙏 Make foods appealing for kids...
🙏If they don't eat vegetables..instead of giving them vegetables as sabji ..You can boil the vegetable like say spinach, grind it and make dough of paratha..
🙏Can make Vegas cutlet, sandwiches, Frankie rolls to make them eat vegetables..
🙏Can make paratha of dal too or can try masala khichdi loaded with ghee and vegetables..
🙏Make soups like vegetable soup, tomato soup etc
🙏Instead of white bread try using brown bread
🙏Instead of store bought sauce and jam try making out at home...so that can give it with paratha , sandwiches, cutlet, pancake etc..
🙏Serve in different crockery like one day can give glass crockery, other day stainless steel, next day bamboo or even can use silverware if you owe .
🙏Make meal time a family affair..try to eat atleast one meal daily as a family because kids tend to watch and learn..
🙏Don't use mobile, ipads, laptop or TV to feed child..kids tend to get addicted and some even just swallow the food instead of chewing..some even have 2 parathas while watching gadgets and when asked what did you eat?? Reply that I don't know..
🙏 Cut food in different shapes, sizes , with cookie cutter available or just with knife ..or make designed using fork or any lid etc...This attracts kids to try...
🙏Make the plate appealing like if you are giving sauce make a smiley out of it instead putting on the plate or bowl..
🙏Don't try to force feed the child...This way they tend to get fear against food...
.
.
Lastly no two kids are same...This have worked for me and may not work for you..So don't lose hope and patience..
