Father’s are underrated …

I remember watching all those Hindi movies and how they glorify the mother every time. If you remember almost in every movie, there is an emotional scene or a song on mothers.

As a kid, we are mostly attached to our moms because she is the one with whom we spend most of our time but where is dad? This poor man working day in and out, for our bread and butter. Dad are those who silently work in background, so that everything runs smoothly on the home front.

My dad was no different, always saw him going early to office and coming late all tired but still will check on us, like how was our day in school and all. They are the real heroes when they are around you are relax nothing worries you.

My dad was very strict about studies, discipline and time. Getting his permission for a movie with friends was like fighting a world war. This is the reason, kids are more comfortable with their moms than dad as mom get convinced easily. There is always a distance or can say line of respect that we never express our love the way we do with moms.

We never appreciate him for all the things he ever do for us, I never said thank you to my dad for making me who I am today and when we become parents generally we understand the over-deal of mom but what about dad and no one never understand his part except the dad himself.

Dad are like those strong roof, under which you feel safe and secure. I feel now it is time to give him his due credit.
Most of us, call our mom daily and talk about our day ask her about her day, now make a routine to call your dad as well, talk to the old man. Take him out for dinner or just for a walk once in a while.

Father’s do not express much but they love you equally. So , you don’t need father’s day to say love you dad or thank you for that matter just say it whenever to meet him, give tight hug and see the happiness on the face of your old man.

As soon you finish reading, please call your dad and tell him that you love him. Happy Father’s day …..
