question
Feeling frustrated with my own mother. she is saying, milk will get drained at night. Since feeding from morning to night. Is it so..? Actually last 2days he had aggressively crying and pulling his hair. And refused feeding too...his stomach had tough and I applied oil.He got Clear in few min. Because of my mom I had lot doubt here. Pls help me.

1.Without milk does baby suck the nipple

2. His growth is slow 700 too 800grm per month does mean it milk is not enough

3. He do sleep for 5hrs in night day time 2 to 3hrs continue his sleep. If milk not enough he might not sleep right..?

4. How long should I feed., He do suck 5 to 10min and goes to sleep or do play like seeing surrounding and again come to nipple. Does he not suck proper?

5. I realized he do speed sucking example When I give some drops his sucking speed is too quickly.does mean he empty my breast soon?

6.each side feeding Technic using,20min minimum I feed, end of the feed I press my nipple I seen few drops sometimes nothing. Is it any problem.

7. He doesn't do burp properly I have to wait for long time.

8.he had colic pain while feeding crying and releasing gas. My assumption is right?

9.how do I understood milk is not enough for him?

10. My mom forcing me for solid food next month starting with raagi

Just 3.5monrh gone he gained 4.4kg pls advise all this above factor, sorry too many questions.

Hi
Feed your baby on demand. Weaning only after six months. Until six months exclusive breastfeeding is recommended and nothing else. Burp your baby well after feeding. No solids until six months. If your baby's pee count is six to seven times a day then it's a sign of well fed baby. If colic not settling please meet your doctor. It's a phase they will overcome as they grow. If the baby is active and taking feeds well don't worry about the weight.
Please read these articles
Everything You Need To Know About Colic
Suggestive Diet For Lactation
Height And Weight Chart: An Easy Tool to Monitor Your Child’s Health
